The Salish Sea School is a nonprofit environmental education organization based in Anacortes that connects people of all ages to the Salish Sea through hands-on, place-based learning. We offer shoreline and boat-based programs for schools, families, and adults, including youth field programs, community science, and wildlife and puffin tours. A core part of our mission is expanding access to the ocean for under-served communities, while inspiring stewardship and a lifelong connection to the sea.
We are proud to serve as a local hub for marine education, conservation, and meaningful outdoor experiences in the Salish Sea.
