Pay Range: $17.00-$20.00/hour, DOE (Compliant with Washington State wage laws)

Do you love working with kids? Are you passionate about helping athletes flip, roll, and soar to new heights—safely? Spark Movement Academy is looking for a safety-minded, energetic, and experienced Tumbling Coach to join our fun, fast-paced team!

We’re looking for someone who knows how to coach technique, encourage progress, and keep young athletes motivated, all while creating a positive and supportive environment. If you’re ready to inspire the next generation of tumblers, this is the job for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Teach tumbling to children and teens of various ages and levels
• Develop and deliver structured lesson plans that focus on safe skill progression and development
• Spot athletes appropriately and ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Foster a fun, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere where every child feels encouraged
• Communicate clearly with students and parents about progress and goals
• Maintain a clean, organized gym space and inspect equipment for safety
• Support showcases as needed
• Uphold all studio and gym policies and values, including DEI practices and behavioral expectations

What You Bring:

• Previous experience coaching tumbling, acro, gymnastics, or cheer
• Strong technical knowledge of tumbling mechanics, spotting, and injury prevention
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire), Safe Sport Course Completion, Concussion Training, and complete a background check.
• A passion for working with kids and helping them reach their goals
• Ability to lead safe, engaging, and high-energy classes
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field is a plus

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to:

• Stand, kneel, or move continuously for extended periods
• Lift and move mats or gym equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Demonstrate basic tumbling skills (modifications acceptable)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $17.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Schedule: Flexible shifts available, evenings, weekends and day camps
