Do you love local food and farms? Join us over Labor Day weekend to celebrate all that our island has to offer.
Whidbey Island Grown Cooperative has been navigating the current health crisis carefully and thoughtfully to bring you safe, responsible options for connecting with local farms and chefs and to celebrate local food!
This year’s offerings will focus on events appropriate for the current pandemic-related guidelines: virtual farm tours, social media posts/stories, specialty dishes made with local ingredients from many of your favorite island restaurants.
Whether it’s venturing out to a local farm stand, ordering take-out from a local restaurant, or shopping at a farmer’s market, let’s all get out there and support local for WIG Weekend!
