Tuesday, Jan 16th - CHOOSE YOUR COMMAND THEME (Viva Las Vegas)

Commands will submit their top 3 choices for their theme starting January 16th via Google Forms. VAQ-134 had the most participation last year, so they get first choice of theme this year. After that, themes are granted on a first come first serve basis.

Deadline for Auction Item Submissions via the Live/Silent Auction Google Form
We encourage you to submit your item descriptions and items as early as possible so OSCWI can notify you if changes need to be made before the deadline.
Please provide a Photo to include in the slide show presentation for LIVE auction items when you submit the Google Form.
All auction items need to be brought to the O’Club on the day of Time and Talent.

Saturday, March 2nd, 2024

12- 4 pm - Set up your auction items and decorate your command’s table. No flames of any kind, confetti, glitter, sand, hay, dirt, etc. Nothing may be hung on walls.
Keep decorations from obscuring views of the stage/auctioneer.
6-10 pm Time and Talent.
10-11 pm Each command is responsible for cleaning up and disposing of their decorations at the end of the night. Trash may not be left. Pack out the decorations that you pack in.

Attendee information
All officers and officer spouses are invited to attend!
OSCWI members receive a 15% discount on their Time and Talent tickets.
(You can be a member of both your command OSC and OSCWI!)
Ticket Information:

Tickets on sale January 19th, 2024 via Eventbrite Attendees from the same command will be grouped by table(s) for command theme decorating, regardless if a full table is purchased or not.
Ticket pricing:
$40.00 each for OSCWI members and spouses of OSCWI members
$45.00 each for non-OSCWI members and spouses
Ticket sales close on February 23rd, 2024.
Event entry & dinner included in the price of the ticket. Drinks can be purchased from the O’Club bar.

Tickets will NOT be available at the door.

Time and Talent overview
WHAT IS TIME AND TALENT?
It is NOT a talent show! This themed event is a night of fun, food, drinks, and Live and Silent Auctions! The Auction items are made up of a command and/or local business’ Time and Talent - giving the event its name.
There is a main event theme, and individual commands choose their own themes within this overarching category. Dress up in costumes, decorate your tables – be creative and have FUN!

Tables are round that seat 6 or 8. The number and sizes of tables your command can use depends on the number of attendees from your command.
2024’s Main Event Theme is: Viva Las Vegas
Awards are given for the following:

Highest Command Participation
Best Command Spirit
Best Command Theme

Why does this event exist?
Not only is it fun to get together as a bigger NASWI community, the main objective for Time and Talent is to raise funds for the scholarships OSCWI provides for military dependents, spouses and local high school seniors.
Time and Talent is also a fundraiser for commands; a percentage of Live Auction proceeds go back to the donating command.

All officers and officer spouses are invited to attend!

Who can join OSCWI?
My spouse's command doesn't have an OSC. Can I still come to Time and Talent?
YES! PLEASE come to Time and Talent. If your command hasn't submitted a theme, you can still participate by dressing up as your favorite Las Vegas Icon!
Can I attend without my spouse?
YES! Definitely. All officers and officer spouses are invited to attend.
