The Time Traveling Trio
Description
Pianist Eileen Soskin, violinist Gloria Ferry-Brennan and cellist James Hinkley will perform piano trios dating from the 19th century to the present.The program will include piano trios by Mendelssohn (1839), Faure (1923), Bridge (1907), Piazzolla (1968) and Higdon (2007). Soskin, well-known for her pre-concert lectures, will provide a brief commentary before each piece.
