Description
Get ready to squish, mold, and create with your hands at our Hands On Clay Explorer camp with Miss Knight! This exciting five-day adventure for children ages 5-10 introduces young artists to the wonderful world of clay, where they'll transform simple lumps of earth into amazing works of art. Children will explore a variety of clay techniques to create both creative and functional pieces. Starting with fundamental handbuilding methods like pinch pots and clay slabs, campers will progress to exciting pottery wheel explorations (with a child-size pottery wheel) before decorating their week's creations. Each day builds upon skills learned while encouraging artistic expression and tactile discovery.
