We’ve missed you during our long hibernation. We’ve missed eating together and discovering new flavors with you and engaging in good conversation around the table.
Our fermentation class will be our first live (hybrid with zoom option) meeting since last summer. It will be held at the Greenbank Progressive Club on April 30th at 2:00 pm. We are looking forward to seeing you again plus learning about fermentation and pickling.
We are limiting the number of folks so we can do some social distancing and the class is filling up fast. After the class you will get to sample some commercially prepared fermented products and there will be a drawing for a “fermentation basket” containing several items. There may be a surprise or two as well.
Please be sure to contact us soon if you would like to attend the class. Register with Kathy at kathy46@whidbey.com. You can choose whether you’d like to be there in person, or via Zoom. Cost for the event is $15 for Slow Food members and $20.00 for non-members.

P.S. If you join Slow Food on “Give What you Can” day, April 22nd, you could join for $5 and then enjoy the class for $15.00. All classes for the next year would then be at the $15.00 level. Just let Kathy know if you plan to do that and you will receive the $15.00 rate.
