Race the Reserve

Description

The second annual ?Race the Reserve? half marathon and 10K/5K to raise funds for a safe graduation party will be held Saturday, August 10, in Coupeville, Washington.   Organized by the Coupeville High School Class of 2014 parents, the courses traverse Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve on beautiful Whidbey Island. Half trail, half road, this race offers spectacular panoramic views of the Olympics, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker. Chip timing provided by BuDu Racing, LLC.  Race starts and finishes at Coupeville Elementary School, 6 S. Main Street, Coupeville, Washington, at Mickey Clark Field. Event day registration and check-in at 6:30 a.m. Half-marathon ($45) starts at 8:30 a.m., 10K ($30) and 5K ($20) begin at 9 a.m.  Register at racethereserve.com. Registration fees increase after July 20.
