Description
Feeling challenged? Parenting, whether as a parent, step-parent, grandparent or caring adult, is a tough job. Learn effective tools based on the "positive discipline" curriculum. Participants will learn through experiential activities, demonstrations, role plays and problem solving methods. This free, seven session parenting class teaches methods that you can immediately use in your home and your life. The class, offered by CADA, has limited free childcare on site for participants. Learn how to: reduce power struggles, minimize sibling rivalry, understand the belief behind the behavior and help children achieve self-discipline and problem solving skills. Learn how to be more effective as a parent and have fun in the process.
