Our Monthly Speakers Luncheons are back with great speakers on Naval Aviation history and first hand stories of significant historical events. Join us at the Elks Lodge, 155 NE Ernst St., Oak Harbor, WA on Tuesday 26 APRIL beginning at 11:30 AM.   In June of 1995, one of the more remarkable combat survival stories of the 20th century took place in northwest Bosnia. This month’s speaker is CAPT John Geragotelis, USN, (Ret.). As a young Navy pilot, he took part in the rescue of Air Force CAPT Scott O’Grady – a native of Spokane, WA. Remarkable for the six days O’Grady spent evading hostile forces on the ground after he was shot down and efficiency of his ultimate escape, the rescue received widespread news coverage throughout Europe and the United States. Please join us for a unique perspective on CAPT O’Grady’s rescue.    Buffet lunch will be available for $12. Please RSVP to info@pnwnam.org or 360-240-9500.
