10 AM Meetup: Oak Harbor Post Office Parking Lot. Walk from there will be easy and at most will be 1.3 miles and will end at noon at Smith Park Oak Grove. If weather is stormy we'll shorten the walk and meet for lunch/beverages at Whidbey Coffee!

Garry Oak Society Sponsored "Notable Oaks Walking Tour" This is a 'kickoff' event sponsored by the Garry Oak Society to celebrate WA State Native Plant Society's "Native Plant Appreciation Week Event" 10AM to NOON (NOTE: I can't input data into the start time and end time above this notice!) The walk led by Garry Oak Society Members Melissa Duffy and Scott Hornung, will include natural history, poetry, local legend, lore and historical events related to our magnificent and unique Garry Oaks. You are welcome to bring a sack lunch and join us under the Smith Park Oak Grove around noon (If weather permits!)
