Intruder Tribute Dedication
“Showcasing a Legend”
NAS Whidbey Island
You are invited to the dedication of the “Intruder Tribute”.
1400, (2:00pm) Friday, 8 September, 2023.
Langley Blvd and Larkspur Cir. – Just outside NAS Langley Gate
The Tribute is a four-sided granite obelisk highlighting the mission, squadrons, aviators and maintainers of the A-6 Intruder aircraft. The donor bricks and site improvements enhance the Intruder static display area.
Khakis/ Flt suits. Business casual, flight jackets encouraged.
Following the ceremony, the Intruder Assn is hosting snacks for Happy Hour at the McCormick Center (O’Club). 1430 – 1730, no-host bar. Great chance to mingle with the next generation of aviators!
Base access options:
- Provide info required to complete SECNAV Form 5512; Name, DOB, Dr Lic #, State, etc. More info to follow.
- Carpool with an authorized ID Holder from the dedication.
