Description
WHO: Whidbey Island residents and visitors alike will enjoy a seasonal celebration of rural farm life at the historic 150-acre Greenbank Farm. Local artisans, farmers, nonprofit organizations, chefs, and musicians join together to celebrate the bounty of island life!
WHAT: The 2nd annual Harvest Faire offers old-fashioned family fun activities that include: hay rides, games on the lawn, beer garden + local music, local artisans + good food, children’s crafts under the big yellow tent, flower farm tours, native plant education, marine touch tank, pie eating contest — and more!
WHEN: The Harvest Faire runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Pie Eating Contest takes place at 2:00.
WHERE: Greenbank Farm is in central Whidbey Island at the narrowest part of the island where there are plentiful views of the Salish Sea and surrounding mountains. The address is 765 Wonn Rd, Greenbank, WA 98253
WHY: The Port of Coupeville is caretaker of two of Whidbey Island’s most iconic properties: Coupeville Wharf and Greenbank Farm. Greenbank Farm is home to a variety of hobby gardeners, and several small businesses. The Harvest Faire is an opportunity to bring people together to celebrate our shared agricultural heritage. We also pay tribute to the vital role farms play in the island’s economy and food security.
