Why do you apply for grants? How can you persuade funders that your program is a good fit for their funding priorities? In this workshop, you?ll learn about grantwriting best practices from the perspective of the grant reviewers who will be making decisions about your funding applications. The information provided in this presentation can be applied to all of your competitive grant proposals and not just limited to Whidbey Community Foundation?s grants program.
This workshop will be hosted online on Tuesday June 13, from 10am - 11:30am and Wednesday July 12, from 3pm - 4:30pm.

About the Facilitator: Jeff Natter (he/him) has created and managed grants programs for over 25 years. He has served as Manager of the Ryan White Part A HIV/AIDS Program at Public Health - Seattle & King County and as Executive Director at the Pacific Hospital Preservation and Development Authority. In these positions, Jeff was responsible for developing and administering health and social service grants totaling over $150 million. He has also reviewed grants for the federal Health Resources and Services Administration, the Pride Foundation, the Greater Seattle Business Association, and the Unfunded List, and served as a frequent presenter at the Puget Sound Grantmakers Association. Jeff holds a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University and Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Yale School of Drama. Jeff is also a rabid Seattle Storm fan and has the ink to prove it!
