On Sept. 7\, 2025 WIDT opens its doors for the community (that's you) to audition for a role in this traditional event so you can share the joy of the season. It's a perfect opportunity for you to get involved in a project that has been a seasonal staple of Whidbey Island\; to get on stage and have fun telling a magical story to our local kids of all ages.\n\nNo experience is necessary. WIDT will teach you all the moves\, and have a lot of fun throughout the rehearsal and performance process. You'll get to wear amazing costumes\, make new friends\, and learn something new\, all while delivering a classical story to your community. Auditions for a variety of roles from playful elves and woodland creatures to brave soldiers and revered family members will be held on Sunday\, Sept. 7\, 2025 at Island Dance & Gymnastics (714 Camano Ave.\, Langley).\n\n\n Ages 6 7: 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM\n Ages 8 10: 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM\n Ages 11 15: 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM\n Ages 16 96+: 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM\n\n\nRehearsal start the first weekend of October through the performances ending Dec. 21\, 2025. Rehearsals are Saturdays and/or Sundays in the afternoon (depending on roles). It's a lot of work\, but also a lot of fun.
